Jah Warrior’s trademark heavyweight sound is ever present throughout the tracks, with one eye on the future utilising modern sounds whilst remaining grounded in the foundations of roots reggae. There are no dubstep style mashups and no compromises in the production. This is dubwise roots reggae for the modern age, made in London but inspired by the dub masters from Kingston Jamaica like King Tubbys and Scientist!
Mixed at Conscious Sounds by Dougie Conscious, the tracks were produced during the early 2000’s. Musicians include Steve Mosco on bass & keyboards, Hughie Izachaar on guitar and melodica, Jonah Dan on percussion, with a full 3 piece horn section from Crispy Horns – coming to you inna digital meets live instruments style! Vocal snippets from Rod Taylor, Peter Broggs, Horace Andy and U Brown add flavour to the dubwise mix. With both steppers and one drop riddims, these rough and tough dubs will give your speakers a serious workout and provide maximum enjoyment for your ears. Bass in your face and vibes in the place.
